We all know nutrition is key for a healthy and fit body, but with all the conflicting science and 'evidence', it's hard to know exactly what to eat!
Are carbs bad? How much fruit is too much fruit? Do I need to quit sugar? Can I eat after 6pm? I can help shine a light on all of these topics, and help you find the diet you need to pursue your goals. Check out all my videos, and if you have any questions about nutrition, please email me at [email protected] |
Nutrition was my first introduction to the health and fitness industry. Before I joined a gym. Before I became a Personal Trainer. Before I was involved in Strongman, I was an out of shape, skinny, unhealthy 75kg boy.
I remember the night I decided something had to change. I was 24 years old, and I had no clue what a carbohydrate or a protein was. I don't remember that stuff being taught at school?? Maybe I just wasn't paying attention.
After a few hours on the internet searching "healthy eating" I stumbled upon a podcast called "Healthy Body, Fit Mind". I went to bed listening to a few episodes, and began a low carb lifestyle the next day.
I lost 5kg over 7 weeks, by simply changing my eating habits, and walking to the shops everyday for my food.
It was only after a few months of this lifestyle change that I actually started using my gym membership, and training consistently.
Although my views have changed over the years on diet and training, I saw straight away how important diet was for weight loss and muscle building.
Fast forward 7 years, and I now have a Certificate in Nutrition, along with numerous state and national records and titles for my sport.
When someone approaches me about losing fat, or gaining some muscle, my first recommendation is to have a nutrition consultation, rather than suggesting Personal Training sessions 3x per week.

The best part about what I've learned about nutrition, is that it's not hard to lose weight. It's science. Burn more calories than you consume. It really is that simple.
How many calories do you personally need? How much are you currently burning? How many meals should you be eating? Those questions I can only help you with 1 on 1. Please check out my video on Nutritional Consultations, with coaching and support. I can save you years of trying to figure this out on your own, in just 2 months.

Please stop starving yourself. Please stop running too much and avoiding carbs like they want to kill you. There's a much, much easier way. If a junk food addict like me can do it, then anyone can.
